Model Reflection

Hi Friends. This is a model reflection entry I would like to share with you so you will know what my expectations are for your reflection uploads.

While I will go over the steps to recording and uploading your reflections in class, this entry should serve as a reminder for what I would like to see.

This will be a great way for me to know what you are mastering and what you still need support with, especially while I am out. I hope you will enjoy making your reflections and thinking about your learning.

Preparation
1. Your reflection may be written or recorded as a video (see examples below).
2. Your reflection should be focused and brief (two pages/minutes or less).
3. Take some notes and organize your key points.
4. Speak clearly (slowly and loudly) if you record a video. Avoid the dreaded "uhm's."
5. Introduce yourself and your topic.

Topics
6. Share a reflection on something you are learning or doing in class.
7. Share something you want to get better at and your strategy for doing so. Your strategy will be your road map to mastering your targeted skill.
8. Teach something to your audience. If you are recording you can use a white board or manipulatives if that helps.
9. We may eventually use this site to share and critique writing as well.
